a weekend of weddings
apparently love is in the air. i guess i breathe something different than oxygen. jk. i went to two weddings this weekend. it's strange i had two in one weekend seeing as i've never been to a winter wedding before. saturday was jon and jonquil norton's wedding and nikki was a bridesmaid and toast-maker. both she and her toast were lovely. the wedding was nice and jonquil got the snow she had been praying for. it was good to see the old high school gang again. afterwards we congregated at kristen's house just like old times. sunday was joey and denise brown's wedding at the sheraton in nashua, nh. the hotel looks like a castle! i had fun catching up with lainey, jason, lauren, and their partners. and jason's baby, of course. makenna is the cutest baby i have ever seen, no joke. for the next two days i plan to lay on the couch and sleep and try to get over this cold i have. on wednesday i am driving up to bangor to spend some quality time with amanda and the gamma sig gang and then going to ellsworth to stay with becky on saturday night. then i'll come home, spend a day in wells, then fly out to virginia on march 7th. i am taking a little roadtrip through va, nc, and sc to see where i want to land next. i am excited to spend time with rachel in roanoke and luke in dc. should be a good time.
