Brrrr
Things are going quite well. Today was great for three main reasons: 1) It's Friday; 2) It's pay day; 3) We got to leave work at 3:45 to attend the agency holiday party. It was held at Leilani Lanes bowling alley. I'm not the biggest fan of bowling and I surely suck, but I had a good time nonetheless. I really love the crew we work with. They are totally da bomb. I have a movie recommendation for ya: "Finding Neverland" with Johnny Depp and Kate Winslet. We Netflixed it last night and it was really good. I even shed a tear at the end. *Tear*. Shout out to Amanda who called me last night. At first I thought she was intoxicated, but she was only high on life. Cheers to the designated driver! She was DD for some friends and I think it's a commendable thing to do. I do appreciate this about the city... it's nice not having a car because drinking and driving is not even an issue. There's buses and taxis galore! Hurrah! I will be missing the Wells Christmas Parade tomorrow, it's only the second one in my 25 years I will have missed. It's kind of a bummer missing out on holiday traditions, but it's also somewhat refreshing. It will make them that much more special when I come home for holidays in the future. We are planning a trip to Victoria, British Columbia, sometime this winter. That should be a lot of fun. It's only like three hours away by car. Speaking of Canada... Nikki and Regan think I pronounce "egg" in a very Canadian fashion. Apparently I say "aye-g" instead of the correct way. They were getting quite a kick out of it today over lunch. I don't mind having Canadian traits. They seem to have a pretty cool, and peaceful, country up there. I will take it as a compliment...
