I still have those two sewing machines for you! Is there a time/place that works to deliver/pick up?

Don't worry about it one bit. I understand totally. I'll be home from work by about six-ish...maybe a little after. Do you want me to drop them off? I'm pretty close and it'd be no trouble.

Tonight I will be attending a memorial for a homeless man who died in his tent recently.
But I'm wide open this weekend, so far.
Tomorrow ok?
(Let's take this off-list..)

Have you asked Safeway for a donation? They have been ready to give gift cards to their store in the past.

I didn't this year.
I tried that last year but they said
they couldn't help me unless I was part of an organization.
And I'm not. It's just me.

it might be a lot easier if you got some organization's backing for doing this. there are probably some that will back you unobstrusively.

Since the church is helping you with the location, I wonder if they might help you as representing an "organization" - are you working with someone on staff there?

I don't really have any money to donate (things are tight, yadda yadda), but are any of your kids in need of some winter wearables? Knit hats, scarves, mittens, etc?

There is a kid I bought a movie ticket for the other day, he hangs out around the regal meridian downtown. I am going down there today, to see how he is coping with the cold. May I tell him you are having food there?

i probably know him.
ask him if he knows me.
the kids call me 'mama dread'.
