Roofing companies?

I checked memories to no avail.

Does anyone have any good recommendations for roofers or roofing companies?

Thanks very much!

what type of roofing are you looking to get done? residential? shingle? metal? tile? slate? low slope built up? torch down? i could probably give you a sizable list of roofing contractors depending on what type of roofing.

Oh wow. Excellent questions. I'm new (fairly) to this home ownership business, so bare with me...

Residential, yes.
Shingle, I believe so...with some torch down.
And I do have a small, flat portion of the roof that I certainly would consider getting built up if I thought I could afford it, as I've had some water build-up/leakage issues. :o(

Thanks in advance for your help! I greatly appreciate it!

remembering the better the contractor the more you'll end up spending, however i would recommend

1. legacy roofing http://www.legacyroofing.com/

2. larry haight roofing http://www.larryhaight.com

3. jorve roofing http://www.jorve.com/

and i would contact all three roofing contractors and get them to come out and give you an estimate (they all offer freee estimates) and choose the one that you feel is the best. i've worked with the first two and strongly recommend legacy roofing. larry haight also does an excellent job and are easy to work with, jorve i've never worked with but know a few people who have and they've had a decent experience with them.

but by geting multiple estimates (bids) you can get a good idea of what it should cost. if you have any more questions i can probably help so feel free to ask.

You're an angel!
Just deciding where to start is half the battle with the plethora of options available, so this is a tremendous help!
Thanks again.

And hope they don't fall off (or through) and sue your ass. "Licensed and bonded" is a damn nice arrangement to have on your side.

Also, torchdown with water collection problems? Not so easy for a DIYer, and water damage is t3h sux. Do it right, hire somebody.
