Lovely Ladies!

After that nice person asked about the kimonos, I felt justified to ask if anyone knows where I can find corsets for ... we'll just say plus sized men and or women. A dear friend of mine is in love with corsets, but can never find them in her size, so I thought I'd come on here and ask.

Thanks a trillion!

Any decent corset will be made to order, so size shouldn't be that much of an obstacle. I'm not sure if you are adamant on buying local, but if not I know that Axfords has pretty good prices on custom made, good quality corsets. Here's their url:

I can't recommend Marie Cooley enough!

I have a corset made by her and seen many of the corsets she's made. I love what she does. Her stuff is the highest quality I've seen.

Take a look at her site and email her.. she is a great person to work with.

Custom made is expensive, but it's the best way to go. I have two corsets made from http://www.versatilefashions.com/ and I couldn't be more pleased by them.

You just pick out the style you like, the fabric you like, give them detailed measurements and in about a month it's on your body.

Petite to Plus-Size - they'll happily make anything for men, too.

What size? I know The Crypt goes up to a 42 I think. Custom made though, would make it fit much much better. A friend of mine has a regular one from The Crypt, and she, hmm, isnt' fitted for it as well as she would like to think. She won't get a custom one either for some reason.
