The week in Review

Soooo, it's been a few days since my last entry. I went back to work, and that was hard. I worked pretty hard on Wed., and went to the Larry the Cable Guy concert that night (more on that later.) I woke up Thursday morning and WOW, I was hurting and really tired. So I only worked 4 hours Thursday and Friday was a short day also. I need to learn to take it easy. I really like my job but I have to make sure that I don't hurt myself again. Today is another very slow day. I'm keeping out of the wind and resting. But I figure that I'll make it out to the Bear Meet tonight.

As I said, I went to the Larry the Cable Guy concert Wed. night. I got the tickets for Bill's christmas present and we thought that it was gonna be great. We got to the parking garage and realized that it might be a little different that we anticipated. As we were driving into the garage we saw this mega truck pulling in. When it got to the maximum height sign, they reached out the windows and pushed it up so they couls get passed it. Not the smartest move but you know, ya gotta park. Fortunantly, the manager got them to turn around before they got stuck. So then we got parked and walked over to the Paramont. Right away I realized one very important thing about the concert crowd - There are those of us that appreciate the humor and those that live the humor. Next, Bill saw Larry at the back door and I went over and got his autograph. Well, guess who was in front of me with his girlfriend - Bucky Jacobson (http://www.buckybackers.com/). Guess who Bill has been lusting after for the last 2 years, yep Bucky. Once we got into the theater, Bill went to the bathroom and again guess who was at the urinal next to him, yep Bucky. Apparently Bucky is NICE, very NICE. Then Bill got to talk to him outside as Bucky was waiting for his girlfriend. So I got Larry's autograph and Bill got to .... talk to Bucky. A great start.

We got our seats and realized that the seats were really close together and Bill's knee was goona be killing him soon. We also realized that we were probably surrounded by a portion of the Red part of Washington state. Then the starter comedian came and both of us realized that we hadn't been around straight humor in a long time. What I saw as homophobic and mysoginist seemed to be very funny to everyone else there. Hmmmm, I must be gay. Well, Larry came on and he was very funny, but because of the previous guy we were a little on edge. All in all, it was a good evening, but I definitely know that I'll be watching Larry on TV instead of going to going to see him.

Ok, that's it for now. Have a great Saturday.
