Write every day. Even if you don't feel like it, suck it up! It's like having to work out, only for your mind.
I try to make a goal of 500 words or more a day.
Take a walk, read a book. Watch a PBS program or read a copy of National Geographic. It helps with inspiration.
http://writeordie.drwicked.com/ is your friend. So is an egg timer if you don't want to use that.
Take a break from the computer and write in a note book if you can. Sometimes writing with something different helps.
When you are brain dead sometimes a nice nap does the trick.
Always have a playlist ready if you need to set the mood, or need something to help you focus.
Coffee, coffee, and more coffee. Or tea. or hot cocoa. mix it up!

Oh yeah and I'm ducking in that corner because I haven't ever done Script Frenzy!

LOL, that's my mentale now. Even if I don't feel like writing I write and most of the time I usually get at least 100 words (though one day I think I only manage 39 and another day 60) but it's better than nothing.

So will you be doing Script Frenzy for the first time this year? I've tried it twice now (and failed each time). I'm much better at Nano, lol
