I decided to put off the dvd projector and save up to buy a laptop.I found a really good priced one on walmart's website.Except I never heard of the brand.Though the reviews seem to be good and it plays dvd's like I want it to.Here's the link.

yea ive been wanting a laptop forever but never can make myself save that much money.but this one is reasonably priced at 498 so i think i can do it.

My coworker had an Acer computer. He said it was crap but he also had it for several years, he barely ever shut it off, and when it acted slow he would be impatient with it and keep turning it off and on. Other than that, I havent heard much about it.

well i just want it to check email do my journal,pics and watch dvds.i always turn it off at night and when im not home so do you think it would be ok if i just used it for basic stuff?maybe you could ask him alittle more about it if you remeber to.

Yeah i forgot to mention he also had a ton of illegally downloaded crap on his computer! I think you'll be fine, but i'll ask him about it if u like.

Wow! Four to Five hundred dollars for a laptop is a steal!!! I work at a kind of electronics store called Staples, and I can tell you for sure that is a steal. It does seem to have good reviews! But, I would also invest in some sort of plan or coverage if you don't like the computer or something happens to it. That way you know your not throwing your money away. Your just protecting it!

oh cool thats where my mom got her new computer!so do you think it would be better to buy it at a store rather than buying it online?I mean they do offer a coverage plan on walmarts website but do you think it would be better to buy it at a store so I can talk to someone?
