Apparently, I read a chunk of chapters in 2015 and enjoyed them very much. But I don't remember. lol So, I'm re-reading over on AO3 and am excited it's complete. It's my reward for finishing my SS fic. Huge congrats for coming back around and finishing! I know that it's such a fantastic feeling! Happy for you!

And it’s finished! I loved this story back in the day. I’d assumed your muse had moved on, but it’s a story that stuck in my mind. I’ve been listening to the British History podcast while driving to the serious boondocks for work. He talks quite a bit about the Anglo saxons and about Penda and I remembered Witleof. Glad to see his story tied up! Thanks so much for finishing this!!

I am so grateful to all the people who have read this story - especially those who started from the beginning again or for the first time; but I am in awe of anyone who remembered enough from reading it the first time round!
