Love the story. You got everyone's voice just perfect. I would have loved to see this actually happen in canon.

Gah - So, it's you, so probably more to come before they get their HEA, right? But this was a lovely start. The honesty between them is wonderful - even if they both seem to be a bit dense about how the other feels.... But it's them, so to be expected. Nicely done.

Oooh! What a terrific alternate to "Chosen". I can't wait to see where they go with all their feels. (I have a sinking feeling that Angel will need to be consulted about whatever-it-was-that-happened-with-the-amulet. Hopefully it will be very disappointing for him.)

Nice to see Buffy taking a minute, even if she does feel guilty about it. Just be sloth-slayer for a bit. girl. The world will still need saving next month.

I don't think I've ever read a fic with this premise. It's very interesting, and a realistic exploration of how Buffy would deal with the aftermath of Chosen. No matter how much I would have liked her to jump back in Spike's arms right away, I think it does make sense that she doesn't. Not yet, anyway.

I'm not sure if it's just me, but I can't see the banner. It says "Image is locked".

But thank you so much! I really liked the idea that Buffy and Spike would have a slow courtship following Chosen. They escalated quickly toward the end, but I think realizing that they actually have a chance to explore where that momentum was heading, it'd be a bit terrifying for both of them.
