I love it! A properly Spuffy AtS S5. And annoying Angel is good for the soul. A thoroughly enjoyable start to this round!

Your cut didn't "take". The syntax you need is: [lj-cut text="Walk Through the Fire"] but with angle brackets instead of square.

It looks to me like this is the new post editor formatting, and if so, I think garnigal will have to click “Switch to old version” at the bottom before she can use cut tags.

I love your alternate AtS S5. It's always improved by more Spuffy. But I'm a terrible person, because I love the additional irritation for Angel even more!

I have to say, at first I wasn't too happy about Buffy burning up together with Spike in the first paragraph, but that very quickly changed as I read on! This was a wonderful fix-it for AtS S5, I loved it. Buffy and Spike being loving ghosts together, the whole Scooby gang being there to support them, Angel being annoyed... It was all great. And the award for best lame insult goes to Harmony, with her "you ungrateful… executive!"
