I'm glad it isn't as bad as I had feared it might be -- I mean Spike's spying, not the chapter, of course! I mean, it's still a bad thing to do, obviously, but at least he's showing a tiny bit of discretion (even if it's for selfish reasons) and it seems he's slowly getting some necessary insights. Who knows, maybe he'll eventually even come to the conclusion that his despised, insipid other self isn't so bad for Buffy after all!
