"It was not unusual to hear commotion in Buffy’s room"
I bet :)

Slow grin spreading on my face as the spooky horse appears... I'm enjoying all these critters so much!

"“Gahhh! Kill it! Kill it with fire!” Xander yelled as he swung an empty pizza box at the encroaching shapes."
Ah, Xander <3

"zombies that travel with pets"
:)))

"“Winter is coming,” Andrew mumbled"
snerk :)

I'm loving all this mythology lore and "“I mean, traditionally, people would have taken precautionary measures against this kind of stuff""
Yay!

V. curious about the magical power of garlands

I love that Spike explained why demons take Halloween off!

Ahh, the tradition of getting the tree stuck in the door. I remember that one. :)

Oh, the garlands are made of evergreens too! That makes sense, then.

Glad to see Dawn living her best life with the new generation of Watchers ^^

I liked Buffy's half-cuddle-half-jab. Such a lovely scene. <3

Things really start to get rolling in this chapter. I love your use of old lore and rituals that we nowadays associate with Christmas but has actually been around before.

I love all the Scoobies in this. Dawn, Willow, Xander, Giles are all captured really well.

I love that all the trappings of the season are ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. For safety. Makes me not want to scrimp this year. Especially on the all-important mistletoe.

That scamp Dawn, breaking hearts all through the ranks of the Watchers. I love it.

A lovely chapter...though I'm afraid trouble is not entirely gone.

Beautiful chapter! I loved all the ugly monsters, and how the group has kind of forgotten to decorate, for fear of getting taken for softies apparently!
The trip to the shop and back is a lot of fun, and I liked the coziness of that last part.
Loving this <3

Yay, Christmas decorations for the win! The scary monsters outside just make the warmth and cosiness even better.
