Notes:I was going to make a poetry kit in honor of "Some Assembly Required", but then I started thinking it should be SPUFFIER, and I went off on a tangent trying to find which words are The Most Spuffy, using a few pages of AO3 and an online word ( Read more... )

Interesting that irritation and irritation are both among the Spuffiest words :-)

Sadly the day ends for me right now, so I don't have time to play with the words right now, but I look forward to seeing what people have come up with by tomorrow!

Question about the rules: can words be copied? I foresee that more than one of the same prepositions, pronouns etc. will be needed.

Oops, there's irritation twice? :D
Edit: ah, irritated and irritation. That's a legitimate fact...
The grammar words can definitely be copied. They're in a smaller font.

My bad, I meant irritation and irritated! I wasn't trying to suggest they (or one of them) didn’t belong there -- I just thought it's funny what it says about their relationship! (In fact it's one of the things I love about Spuffy.)

I cheated a little. I added a couple of words because either they were there and hiding from me or they should have been there!

So here's my little bit of nonsense Spuffy poetry (probably the first poem I've written in around 15 years). I forgot how fun it is to play with words.

Soulless hero snarling affection,
Pouting lips
Exclaimed in breathless irritation.
Tenderly crushing embrace -
Heaven

I love your poem!

I just had a look at the current state of the poetry kit, and I'm impressed. So much creativity in 24 hours!

Love these...you are so creative and these take a lot of work! Can't wait to play when I'm less tired from watching football, chasing a two-year-old, and cleaning. I also can't wait to see what people write!

It should work pretty much like the previous poetry kits, but, you know what. I don't think there's a really wrong way to use it. Thank you for the comment, and for giving it a try! :)

"Buffy to Spike - Marry Me." Yes, yes, that IS how it works! And then they live happily ever after...
