Great Choice - and NICE with the flashing changes - you always seem to come up with something different and new - I'm going to be asking you some questions on how to learn the layover effects from your Spuffy Vid which I loved.
Thanks Cil! Yes I think the animated versions work best; I have re-arranged the tables a bit to reflect that. And ask away about the effects! Some of them may be specific for Photoshop Premiere though, which I use to edit my vids.
They're great DD. Using the warm/cold tones on them against each other is great to really press that there are contrasts between the two. I love the pick ups you've done between scenes that shows such an eagle eye for detail, like 9 and 10 especially, there are links between the two that just really work. It's a really interesting set. :)
Thank you, Stoney. With the colours I wanted to emphasize the day and night contrast. The night has the cold tones, but it's no less passionate for it! And yeah, once you start looking for them, there just so many interesting parallels.
I really appreciated this idea of the animated icons, surprising when you use Buffy for the night and Spike for the day, but viceversa as well. Loved them! <3
Thanks! I was aiming at contrasting what they were up to during the day and night respectively, rather than tying day and night to each character directly. Glad you like them!
I really like your idea for the gifs icons. A beautiful way to contrast what they once were, and what they've become. How much their relationship evolved into something different. I also like that you chose other colors for each of these aspects, between warmth and cold.
Glad you like them, Miss Kitty! Buffy and Spike's relationship definitely evolved a LOT. Going from wanting to kill each other to being in love really is a difference of night and day! But this gif set only deals with the middle stage of that evolution -- the stage where they changed their dance, so to speak. With the warm and cold colours I wanted to convey day and night, rather than (metaphorical) temperature. But now that you got me thinking about it, the cold colours are still appropriate given that Buffy *was* pretty cold towards Spike at this stage in their relationship, in spite of all the hot sex.
