Wonderful theme of the Fire - it worked throughout the entire series for both Buffy and Spike - of course it was, for me, greatest from the perspective symbolism of Fire as Cleansing and Life Giving Force. Fire is perfect for Buffy and Spike and your image is a fine depiction for their relationship. Well Done! And thanks for using the quote and reminding us of that vision quest.

I'm happy you like it, thank you Cil ! :D I also believe fire is a great way to depict their relationship, not only because of the metaphor of love like up there, but also because what they have was particularly passionate and the symbolism fits them perfectly well :)

That's great, I really like it. And I love how you've used the warmth in the piece but also the water droplets against whilst the fire/warmth is still beneath them, that's excellent. :D

Thank you! :) Yeah, that's one of the things I liked the most about the 'metaphorical' reading of the show and their relationship. I thought it was a really nice comment on Buffy's feelings (i think Joss was saying something like this in the Chosen commentary).
