Hello and welcome to my posting day! I'd like to thank the mods for keeping this fine community going, and my fellow fans for keeping your Spuffy faith strong this many years! How 'bout this season of the comics, huh
( Read more... )
Ooo! So exciting to have an adventure set between Pangs and SB!
Darn that Spike for being so distracting!
Buffy's thoughts as she wanders around the demons' home are wonderful and completely fit that S4 theme of appearances VS reality...what is the truth in this case? Was that student so innocent? Are the demons vicious assassins or vegetarians that have an affinity for all things green and growing?
So many exciting possibilities! And what is with that door?!?
So glad you enjoyed the story so far! I think I may have been a little carried away as I wrote about the apartment, but college freshman Buffy does not like her world view challenged. :)
More will be coming soon. Thanks for reading and commenting!
Ah, this is fantabulous! I do love a mystery, and I love spuffy-with-a-plot, and I also love spuffy! So, yanno, this is hitting me very square in all the things I like :D The identity-crisis-triggering toothbrushes made me laugh, and I love the dynamic you've created between our heroes here. Very much looking forward to more :)
Wow - season 4 Spike and Buffy working together - yes! Shirtless Spike is distracting - LOL who knew? And mysterious and magical stuff going on.... Can't wait to read more.
Thank you! :) Spike's shirt really does have a tendency to come off, doesn't it? Good thing we don't mind haha. Thanks again for reading and commenting!
Poor Buffy, she really does prefer her evil to be clear-cut. Too bad working with Spike (and maybe this case, too?) is anything but. :)
I'm no fan of the Initiative, either. Even in the 90s when Season 4 was airing for the first time most people would object to animal testing due to ethical concerns. What the Initiative did (abductions and experimental medical procedures without consent) far exceeded that. Still, Riley was written as this wholesome, all-American boy and a good match for Buffy.
Anyway, thanks for reading and commenting, Kathleen. And glad you're enjoying the story so far! I hope to post more soon.

All shall be revealed in time. I gotta say, though, that you're very intuitive... ;)

Boy, those demons really love plants! I think I like them!
"identity crisis-triggering toothbrushes" - no kidding! (I thought the toothpaste brand was a great detail)
And yay, teamwork ^^
Looking forward to more! :)
