This is excellent. I'm dropping some Spangel classics to rush to read. You have a deft and delicate touch, great characterization, and it's lots of fun.

We wish we could write faster too :( But this is literally all she wrote right now - we barely finished drafting ch5 Sunday and were editing right up to the SS wire. We have to actually write the rest of it, and sadly we still do have busy lives. So we're posting the existing chapters to EF and AO3 weekly, and by the time they catch up to here, we should hopefully have another couple of chapters in the bag and be able to keep up the schedule. (This will be easier if the chapter don't insist on being massive yet unsplittable...)

But anyhow, rest assured, we are as anxious as you to get this story out into the world! It is crazy fun to write.

Please - it can't be an entire month for another chapter - it seemed as if I had barely started and I got to the last chapter. Super NICE treatment on all the characters but especially Spike - you two make a great team.

thank you so much! The month is because we are posting the existing chapters to EF and AO3 weekly, and should catch up to Chapter 5 thus in, well, about a month. This gives us a chance to write the next few chapters. It took us quite a while to get this far, but we are hoping to get enough of a cushion to keep up weekly posting after that.

And I agree - we do make a great team! This has been so amazingly fun, and the fun is just beginning.
