So much I like about this alternate universe...first, Spike seems totally accepted and still himself, and the chemistry between him and Buffy is lovely and spot on characterization wise. I need to read the back story. Second, Buffy still has a lot on her plate but she seems happy, which is so refreshing. Glory is still a thing...love the minion and Buffy and crew's interaction with the minion. lol Made me laugh a lot. I love that the girls are too underweight to donate blood cause yeah...this is so true! lol And the slogan made me laugh and the constant changing of said slogan...and the sandwich board! lol Super excited for part two!

I think the whole point of this alternate universe was to have a happier, less emotionally damaged Buffy. And we all know that Spike knows how to bring the fun, which I think Buffy really needs to balance out all her heavy responsibilities.

MiAmor read the first couple of scenes and insisted that I put in some Buffy-style malaprops of the slogan. Mischief managed!

The minion dialogue just wrote itself. I guess I had decided to just go for the goofy, by that point.

Thanks so much for commenting, sweetie!

Hmmm no idea about what got them to this place, but they seem to be heading in the right direction... and I don't mean the hospital. :)

There is a gap between where the last story left off and this one picks up, but the upshot is that Buffy had decided that she wanted him, so she got him. Sort of. Maybe he's got misgivings because of his history with Slayers? Or perhaps he's just old fashioned (about some things) and wants to see how it goes before (inevitably) giving his heart again.

*hand wave* As you say, they are moving in the right direction. And helping the hospital to save lives is right on the way!

Thanks for commenting, my dear.

Cool! Good thinking, hospital people. I like this way of saving lives. :)

"“They told me I'm underweight, so I'm just the moral support this time.”
“Huh. They told me the same thing,”" Huh! :D

Scurvy is funny and kind of cute... which is not a sentence I thought I'd ever write.

Not all the people on the Hellmouth are clueless, right? Maneuvering a Slayer into working for you shows a pretty impressive grasp of the situation.

Blood donors need to weigh at least 110 lbs, with a few exceptions. I'm not a great judge of these things, but I figured Willow and Buffy would both be pretty close to the cutoff.

Scurvy is...passionate? I might just keep the little bugger around!

I'm thrilled there's sequel. I never expected more, but I definitely ain't complaining. Vamp around the Corner is one of my favorites. And this fits right in.

How kind of you! I really thought if I wrote in this 'verse again, it would be a Fanged Four prequel, but I was trying to figure out a way to have Riley out of the picture earlier and then I remembered I'd already done that and could just move on.
