It's funny you say that; the story came first, and then I had to decide when it was set. I was thinking, "When were they happy and friendly in S5?", and they weren't, so, early S6 it was.

Ha ha, great Spike perspective and adorable conversation between those two, complete with malapropisms, miscommunication and backpedaling. I loved it!

And now I can just hear David Attenborough in my mind, going on at length about the fascinating breeding habits of the Pflargad demon.

I'm always impressed by how close to wild animals David Attenborough can get while he does his narration. The show seems to suggest that Buffy's got closer to demons than any Slayer has ever done before her (certainly having not one, but two vampire lovers aspect is new), so the David Attenborough mention makes a lot of sense. :)

I can't get enough of Clem and snarky Buffy/Spike convos. The humor was wonderful! This hit the spot. Thank you!

One of the things I love about David Attenborough is how he looks like he's having the best time. I really hope he's enjoying himself as much as it looks like he is. :)
