Ooooh. Nice variation on the "fuck or die" trope. "Fuck or the Watcher dies", instead! "You know I was thinking about Giles, right?" Hee!

Ahem. So. Settling down now. I just love the whole bit with Stripe, from his very eager cooperation to the lifting of his wallet, and I like that Buffy is managing to keep her essential Buffyness even when Spike has the language advantage, the clothing advantage, and the "free demon" advantage. Also, he could really take advantage, but instead tries to make her feel better, so that's nice, too.

Awwww, to the dirty talk that Buffy can't ask for in advance. Sweet. Funny how that plays into Spike's "strength" of not really ever shutting up. *mwah*

I can kinda see how this might turn into a silly misunderstanding after the fact. "I know you hate me for enjoying teh sex, which I'm positive you would never, ever, not ever want...not with me." "I know you hate me for enjoying teh sex, since I totally took advantage of your sensitive, champion feelings...I am such a nympho user and you should never, ever forgive me." Harrumph. I hope they don't drag it out.

Personally, one part of "Where The Wild Things Are" that I liked was at the end when everybody was telling Riley and Buffy how awful it must have been and they are just, "Yeeeeah. No." Sorry to bring up the "R" word in this comm, but must needs. Heh.

Lol, yup ;D I keep trying to figure out how to work that line in!

Subjugating Buffy is a task better demons have tried and failed ;) I think Spike realises he's still alive because he gave up on that madness several years ago now. Still, imo there's always going to be a part of her that enjoys ceding power to someone else, at least for a little while...

As for the ending, it's already laid out, but I think you'll enjoy it :)
