. . . no love for Spike, huh?
Fine. He has alternatives.
Take what he can get.

II.
Eyes the shiny toy,
equal parts lust and distrust.
Will this one want him?

III.
Smells of plasticine,
eyes gleam with synthetic love.
It’ll do for now.
