Thanks! Yeah, a little prior planning by Buffy could have saved a lot of heartbreak. *shrugs* I don't think Spike would view the Shanshu Prophecy with the same reverence that Angel does. But I'll be he makes the most of it!

P.S. Wasn't it you who wrote the story about Dawn trying to buy the ring (or similar) on eBay? That was terrific.

*nods* It was me. It was my Christmas fic a year or so ago. I'm glad you liked it. I think the fact that we never saw that ring returned (or thrown out, or whatever) leaves us a lot of room to play with may have happened to it. And, yes, you're right. Spike will make the most of his new condition. :)

Heh. I'm glad you liked it. It would be nice if some people would just face their internal reality, and other people would stop being so insecure. Or is it the other way around? Oh well, we love 'em anyway.

Hee! Now that was fun! I'm a big fan of the old school “what if” fic; there just aren't enough of them these days.

I've never done a real, true "what if" in the old style, so I was worried that people would be all "ho hum, another what if about that ridiculous ring...pass the foie gras, dahling". But sometimes you just need that comfort food of the fanfic variety, you know? I'm glad you had fun with it.

The manip was kind of necessary, because I kept seeing (in my mind) your icon, but with Buffy wearing the ring. The image wouldn't leave me alone! *pant, pant* I do not seriously plan to make my own soap, however. Or churn my own butter, or plow my own fields (except in the naughty way, maybe). Ta!

¡Yay! I'm so glad you liked it. Yes, just that little bit of effort could have changed so much. But that's why we have fanfic, and aren't we the lucky ones?

I have to admit the ending (while, of course, quite perfect, and aren't you sweet?) was sort of the result of running out of time. Deadlines are our friends. Right? Right? *sigh*
