AN:This chapter kind of zips through random events of Buffy’s life after Spike’s “death”. None of them are particularly significant, just little glimpses of life in the Pratt household through the years.
Uncle Angel Hee!And all they knew about their father’s and mother’s early years and courtship was that it had taken them a long time to fall in love with each other; but that when they did it was very special and forever. With typical ten-year-old-boy lack of interest, Will shrugged off what his older and more romantic sister insisted was “one of the great love stories of all time” in favor of remembering how his father used to talk about the epic fights he and Buffy had back when they “couldn’t stand the bloody sight of each other, and that’s the truth!” "chuckles" That sounds exactly like the versions either of them would give about their "courtship". This is great.
And after 4 years she STILL hasn't let herself realize the demon loves her too! Dope. Feel bad for Spike and the kids but she's brought her own pain on herself. I really want to smack her senseless (oops...she already is). Lovely and so in character. Nice flashback to the moment she chose Spike.
