15th Anniversary Prompting Post
Welcome to our Prompting Post!
In celebration of our 15th anniversary, we are hosting a prompting post, kink meme-style! What’s that, you ask? Well, kink memes are basically commentfic fests, where you post a prompt, and someone else fills it. These are often done anonymously, where both the person making the post and the person filling it don’t reveal their identities. They don’t necessarily have to be sexual or kinky in nature. In our case, we’re just borrowing the structure so it’s easier for everyone to source, whether it’s scrolling through to see what prompts have been given or checking to see what’s been filled.
How will this work?
Basically, leave a comment on this post with your prompt in it. It’s up to you whether you want to be anonymous or not. Then, creators will look through to see if anything sparks their muse.
Rules for Prompting:
1. One prompt per comment.
2. No duplicate prompts.
3. Prompts must be Spuffy.
4. Your prompt can be as simple or as detailed as you like. For instance, it could just be a single word (chocolate), a scenario (Buffy and Spike get magically sealed inside a sex toy shop), or a paragraph detailing an entire plot (let your imagination run wild). Basically, anything goes. Just because it’s inspired by kink meme format, doesn’t mean it has to be about a kink.
Rules for Filling:
1. When you see a prompt you’d like to do, reply to the comment and say that you are working on something for it. More than one person can be inspired by a prompt. Saying you're interested in it is mostly to let other creators have the chance to spread the love, if they desire, by opting for prompts that might not have already been chosen. Don't let it stop you from working on something you love, though. There is no limit on the number of creators who can work on a single prompt.
2. Fills can be anything: a fic, art, vid, fanmix, poem, whatever. If a prompt inspires you to create something, share it!
3. Post your fills as new entries to the community, either on November 28th, the dedicated free-for-all day for prompt fills, or on your scheduled day. Once it is posted, reply to the original prompt with a link to the fill.

The point is to have fun and hopefully inspire creators so we get more Spuffy goodness to share. Everybody has their own tastes and preferences, so if you see something you don’t like, just keep reading. Comments that shame or bash a prompt will be deleted.
