Getting organized has required a lot of time and work. I'm still adjusting to find just what systems will work best and easiest for me to maintain. Bill recently introduced me to Google Notebooks and I am so hooked. It's a free, web based note recording system that can be shared. So far I share these notebooks with Bill:
Family Events/Activities
Things We Want
Manual: Life in This Space
Parenting
We each add notes whenever the thought occurs to do so. While I suppose it may be viewed as a way out of talking, anyone who knows us knows that's not the overriding interest here. In fact, what this system allows us to do is share our thoughts on how to best Get Things Done when the time individually best suits without belaboring certain topics.
I have been working on one called "Projects" that has served as the hub for all my ideas and hopes recorded on papers once far & wide in this house. Other than being able to be accessed anywhere and have sharing capabilities, I don't know exactly why this system holds more appeal than others, but so far the why doesn't matter because it's doing the job I need done.
