Vigil for a Public Health Care Option!
We will meet across the Street from the State St. Diner, on Bloomfield Ave. between Liberty and State Streets.

Bring a candle, and if you have them:  photos or a brief story about your or someone else's suffering from our broken health care system.

Our vigil will be simple and dignified. We'll gather at 7:30 PM (local time) on Wednesday, September 2nd. We will share stories and names of people who are suffering under our current broken health care system. We'll put a human face on the urgent need for bold health care reform that includes a real public health insurance option. With our actions, we'll deliver an unmistakable message to the media and members of Congress: We can't afford to wait: Public Option NOW!

This is not a rally or a place for speeches or announcements. This is simply a moment to stand with the thousands of people who lose their health care coverage every day and millions more who struggle with the unbearable cost of health care.
