school's out for the summer ... just kidding
starting summer school today ...
something about "summer school" says "punishment" ... like you failed your class, or you have to take driver's ed to get cheaper insurance. whatever happened to BAND CAMP?? now THAT was how i liked to spend my summer, seriously. those were the days. i hope my future kids consider band - just to confirm nerdiness: it was one of the most fun times in my life. good times, good times.
but yeah, summer school just doesn't ever sound fun to me. especially when i'm taking an intro class with a bunch of 18 year olds.
in other news, my former best friend's wedding announcement was in the paper yesterday. i'm happy for her, honestly. she looked happy in the picture - genuinely happy, that is. i hope she has everything she ever dreamed of and more. regardless of what happened between us, i still love her and wish her the best. kind of bittersweet, though. i do miss her.
