Yeah, I agree Skinny people remind me of people who are trying too hard to be something they're not and that's ironic because I was classified as "severely underweight." And if you're wondering, no I'm not anorexic and I don't even try to be like this. It's in my genes.

Spain did that? That is so awesome, yet true, those who do run down the runways are plain Janes. It IS their make and clothes that make them pretty. It's like the makeup artists trying to find a blank canvas to work on, yet they don't want some ole loose leaf paper. xP

That is soo true!

My theory is people complain about themselves to get compliments. I have a skinny ass friend and she always says,"I'm so fat, holy crap! No wonder I don't have a boyfriend." etc. and I'm like,"Yeah, that's probably why." Because all they're doing is fishing for comments like,"NO YOU'RE NOT! OMG YOURSPERFECTOMG!" -_-

Yeah, that's most likely true. I guess they just want to feel better about themselves. To me, a true compliment is one that you don't "ask" for or even "want", but they give it to you nonetheless. :) Haha, good response by the way.

Our society is fucked up. I'm so sick of the whole "I need to be skinny like the models in the magazines!" trend. We all know it's not healthy or even possible, so why are so many people trying to achieve something that shouldn't matter? And I second what was said above; if you ever really look closely at runway models, you can see that most of them get their beauty entirely from their clothes and make up. They have plain looks, they're 6 feet tall, and they're 110 pounds. That's not beautiful, that's just freaky.

I heard about this law they're passing, I don't know if it's real, but I read it all over the news so it must be? Anyways, in magazines and on TV and any image has been altered in Photoshop, they have to put a big warning saying that it has been photoshopped and people shouldn't really look like that.
