So this is true suffering. The cruelty of life and the power of death.
Yes.... I understand now.
[ ooc: Log of Kaworu's experiment (which was conducted today) will be up tomorrow - I'm tired right now.
This is a rundown of what's going to be going down so all involved can react accordingly:
After meeting with them outside the music room, Kaworu will be leading Takasugi and his "assistants" into a science lab, where he's set up a cage of mice and several mouse traps. He'll be prompting the assistants to, one at a time, put the cheese on the traps and set the mice down. If they refuse to comply, he'll do it himself - they'll be forced to watch the results either way. The results, of course, being killing the poor things - snapping of necks, writhing and squirming and squeaking and whathaveyou.
If the assistants try to leave, interfere or help the mice at all, they'll be restrained and forced to proceed/watch, because as Kaworu will calmly remind them "you volunteered, after all." Essentially, he's doing this so he can see how they react to watching it. If, for whatever reason, the mousetraps fail to provoke the emotion he wants (he wants to see their pain) ... he'll turn to more violent means of doing away with them - using other tools he no doubt has prepared for such an occasion. Let's hope, for all of our sakes, it doesn't reach that point though, eh? ]
