1-800-97 You're a fucking fat ass!
I've been pretty busy lately. Which I guess is good, but I miss my friends. I haven't seen Jenn or Erin or Mel or any other cool people in a couple weeks, which kinda puts me in a shitty mood. But I guess it's good that I've actually been trying to be productive. Finished two of my summer reading assignments, half way through Spanish assignments, signed up for the SAT and ACT, wrote thank you notes to the dean and admissions officer at Marist, scheduled my road test, and looked for volunteer work.
It's really awesome how people can just turn away volunteers. I want to fucking volunteer, which means I'll do work that you get paid for for free. Who would not want that?! Apparently everyone.
I got my Kurt Halsey print in the mail today. That makes me jolly. He only made 50 prints and I got the 3rd one. yay.
I don't know what other colleges to look at. I want to look at BU but its insanely expensive and even if I got in I couldn't put that much pressure on my parents or myself with loans.
I still want to look at Iona. At the moment, the only places I will apply to are Marist and FIT (even though I don't really like it). It makes me feel better to know that I at least have a couple places that I want to apply to. A couple months ago I had no idea what the hell I was gonna do with myself. Now I at least have some sense of direction and motivation, which gives me some hope. Now I just have to work my ass off this year to make up for the mess known as my junior year. The only thing that makes me look even slightly presentable to colleges is my SAT score.
