Title: Strawberry Kisses
Pairing: YeolJong
Rating: PG
Description: Inspired by a friend who loves Sungjong and loves strawberries.
Summary: Sungjong love strawberries. Sungyeol loves antagonizing.
He sat there, licking his lips off as he finished another bite of the red fruit, leaving the leafy green top on the plate. It was a problem, really, how quickly Sungjong went through his stash of strawberries. He would buy a small basket full after practice from the fruit vendor near their dance studio and hide it in his backpack or under his jacket until he got home, waiting for all of his hyungs to fall asleep before he tiptoed out of bed and walked quieter than a ninja to the kitchen.
And then he would sneakily start to eat his precious fruit, one by one, until his lips were red with juice and his fingers were dripping. He might have eaten seven or eight strawberries, but he hardly was satisfied. The end of the basket was coming near and there were only two left, which meant that he would have to destroy all the evidence (or just put the stems in the trash and wash the plate off) until the next time he passed by the same strawberry vendor.
He was about to take a bite into the next strawberry when he heard a noise coming from one of the bedrooms. He was frozen, about to take a bite out of his food when he saw a half-asleep Sungyeol step out of his room, rubbing his eyes and stomach. He walked to the kitchen to get a glass of water, turning around and giving Sungjong a sly smile.
“What do you have there, Jongie?” Sungyeol knew very well how much Sungjong loved strawberries. He wasn’t surprised by what the maknae was doing.
“My strawberries… I got them after practice today.” Sungjong was about to take a bite out of his strawberry, teeth so close to dipping into the sweet fruit when Sungyeol snatched it out of his hands. Compared to how Sungjong ate fruit (delicate, sweet, and precise), Sungyeol was barbaric. He stuffed the entire thing in his mouth (minus the leaves because that would just be weird) and chewed it with his mouth open, and Sungjong could have sworn that he felt little flecks of strawberry fly onto his face.
“Yeollie! I was going to eat that!” Sungjong’s pout was obvious and he crossed his arms over his chest, picking up the last strawberry in his basket and made sure to eat it quickly, sticking his tongue out immaturely.
“I’ll make it up to you if you want.” Sungyeol’s sing song voice was nothing but trouble, but Sungjong was somewhat annoyed and wanted justice for his poor strawberry.
“And how on earth do you think you’re going to do that?” Sungjong looked up at his hyung who was leaning down slightly, a smirk on his face. His cheeks started to heat up as the older’s face was only centimers away from his own.
Sungyeol pressed his lips to Sungjong’s and he could have sworn they tasted sweeter than any other strawberry he had ever tasted.
The next day, Sungyeol bought Sungjong a new basket of strawberries on the condition that he could have at least one strawberry kiss. Sungjong obliged, and gave him many many more
