so my co-worker who shares the hallway that serves as our office is back from a week long vacation. i forgot that his current obsession is the creation museum. this museum scares me. it is dedicated to the idea that darwin was smoking crack and adam named the dinosaurs...i am not kidding...wish i was.
joey, my co-worker, really wants to take a field trip out there...but i reminded him that he would be struck down by a bolt of lightening once he tried to enter, due to his egregious sin of being jewish. he still wants to go and ask questions like: where did the wife for able (or was it cane?) come from? why are there so many versions of the bible? was it really fair of noah to kick the t-rex off the ark? amongst others...
what scares us the most, is that the creation museum got over $27 million in funding...our museum about california history, whose goal is to educate people about the rich diversity that is california, well, we have a whooping $500,000 to do a complete renovation. AHHHHHHHHHH! it just gets so frustrating when a propaganda museum gets tons of money, and a museum about rich, cultural history gets pretty much zilch.
