I haven't updated in a long time. That's often the story, isn't it? A lot has happened, but not a lot has to be said. It almost feels like I'm keeping a secret that everyone knows. Kinda like pretending that you're the only one who knows that 2+2=4 (or 2, for those of you that are reading this at midnight :P). Not so much recently, I guess, but it felt a bit like that for a little while.

But I'm just rambling so far.

My family went on a hunting trip as I stayed home for some of the best days of my life. I don't know if I coulda stood to miss these last four or five days by parading around in the woods. My dad got a bear, though. So it was a somewhat successful trip, despite a disgusting amount of deer sightings (what they were actually hunting for). Heh, irony for you: they went out hunting for five days and didn't see a single deer. The day after they get back, there's a buck in the backyard. I found that amusing.

I test for my yellow belt on Saturday. Everyone wish me luck, though I'm not too worried. I'm getting kinda tired of karate, but I think it's just because this belt is getting stale to me. If I join the elite club, then I'll be able to learn some additional stuff with weapons and junk, so that might rekindle my interest.

We have to read the Scarlet Letter in Language Arts. I have to have the intro finished by tomorrow. That thing is thirty pages of crap. I kid you not. Hawthorne literally spends an ENTIRE page to tell you that these two dudes were freaking old. An ENTIRE page! I'm not even exaggerating. Bleck.

Well, off to neglect my homework...
