wow! what a special day this is turning out to be... :)
as of this moment the wife of one of the men i really look up to is laboring her first baby. i was riding home with armin the other night and without him telling me, i could sense the anticipation, the excitement, the joy he's feeling knowing his baby boy is about to come out. wow. i mean, man! im not in hurry or anything but just the thought of that moment is.. wow!
i've heard this man's story and i can't help but be encouraged by it. this guy put God first in his life. he waited for the right moment and the right time to lay down his intentions to the girl he's been preparing for. this guy worked hard for his family, and for His kingdom. Everytime time im with him i learn a lot about how it is to be a man around women, and about what it takes to be a family man. His prayers reveal the depth of his devotion and the heart of a king in him.
I can't wait to visit them later!!

in other news...
my summer days so far :)
1. WARweek - annual youth camp! woohoo! 3 days of getting to know what it is to be zealous for God.
2. Campus harvest practices - man o man.. that guy Jose is a halimaw! if there is such a thing as spiritual benchmarking, he'd be on my list.
3. BOOTcamp preparations - back to Caliraya to lead and teach 200 kids! wah! hope id be ready for it! yeah sa Monday na!
4. NEDA practicum - things are picking up already. doing a lot of research on the different LGUs. made me realize how large the room for improvement is in the government. man! and id say the free times were time well spent. :)
5. My Ate back from Cebu! - yipee! all 8 of us back under one roof again hehe :) yup ganun kami kadami!
6. Swimming, jogging, eating, overnight frenzy - hay, friends are such blessings... sniff*... just jogged with friends earlier this morning sa ultra then went straight to hanna's place to chow down her breakfast buffet. Next week ulit!
7. Metro EAST outreach - not by might nor by power, BUT BY HIS SPIRIT! oh man, im so excited for this saturday! i love those guys! go EAST!
even though there are a lot of problems and difficulties coming and will come my way, i can't help but stand secure and at peace, knowing my life is in His hands.
