029: In Which Same As it Ever Was, Same As it Ever Was

I reall have to say, acting is nice except for the part where you have to actually listen to the director. I mean, I've had drinks with him before and he's perfectly alright, but seriously, how many useless suggestions can one person take on how to "nail" the scene? I've been doing what I do in my scene for thousands of years, I don't need a chubby bearded guy in a Mets cap giving me pointers. I doubt I'll be doing this again, but maybe it's a bit too soon to say that before there's even a finished product (or, more importantly, glowing reviews of a certain member of the press and One Scene Wonder).

But enough about the glitz and glamour of independent filmmaking; if I've done my reading correctly, the Persephone saga has finally, mercifully, come to a close, and elsewhere we have an arsonist whom, presumably, none of us have ever seen before and can't identify, much like the other mystery guests. Hmm. Come on, is attempted arson really the best you people have to offer? That's so... basic, I expect more. And besides that, it looks like a slow month. Such a pity, you'd think in a month with a holiday like Halloween things would be more eventful.

does not play well with others, bored now
