Yesterday, on my plane back to New York, I thought to myself. "Self," I thought, "wouldn't it be nice to just outright move to LA? Let's be practical here. All the awards shows that matter are held out here, this is the mecca of hyperindulgent celebrity culture and that's what pays our salary, and if we did want to pursue that acting thing it'd be here and not New York because like hell are we doing Broadway." But then, there are aspects of New York I'd miss. City that never sleeps and all, fantastic music scene, very vibrant nightlife and it's not like this place isn't a big deal celebrity culture-wise too, that pretzel guy just by Times Square who puts the exact right amount of salt on, and so on.
But not the complex. And not this. Opinions and impresssions from smart people on this whole... thing would be useful. Everyone else can panic or whatever, I'd rather not have my time wasted with theatrics right now. Not after a whole week and a half around actors, anyway.
fuck you complex,
family means never having to say sorry,
does not play well with others
