Now the Canadian government has banned baby bottles made from this clear plastic because there are indication that Bisphenol A (BPA), a chemical used in its production and which leaches out of the plastic, may be potentially quite harmful."

The makers of Nalgene bottles also make cages and containers to hold animals for testing purposes.
Now might be the time to look into other alternatives. I enjoy Klean Kanteen; the stainless steel alternative to plastic.
