That made me giggle. It really did.
I just started reading a 1079 page book with footnotes, of which the above is an excerpt. It is a gift from my best friend who got it for me because I was feeling read-y and compelled by the huge thing staring tauntingly back at me from the bookshelf. I don't know what I was thinking, and I think I must be crazy, but eventually I'll find the book having been fully read, and then I will know that I can read anything.
