So much cool stuff. Harvest Moon tonight. Its such a cool thing. Bright as can be in the middle of the night. Plus Jupiter and Uranus in the mix. The combination of sun light and the full moon is such an amazing display.
The Autumnal Equinox occurs at 11:09 EDT (according to NASA, et al), when summer becomes fall. Hang it up, Summer. The Harvest Moon will be brightest 6 hours later.
We also get to see the Moon Illusion. In case you are kinda interested, that is when the moon appears HUGE when it is low in the sky. This one should be awesome. Weird fact: If you bend over and look at the moon upside down between your legs it will not look huge anymore. Hey, I said it was weird.
It supposed to storm here, but I'm hoping it blows over or is at least partly cloudy.
