Part Earthquake, Part Thunder
So, on the one month anniversary of the earthquake, there was another one. I was stretching at Curves when it hit. I have heard that this one was a magnitude 7.1 in Fukushima. As if they need any more problems. It went on for a while and of course has spurred a bunch more aftershocks. Just as they were starting to subside.
I also think I might have accidentally missed a moment of silence at school today. I was checking my e-mail and the VP said something I didn't understand and suddenly everyone starting moving. Sort of sounded like they were sitting down. But I hadn't noticed they were standing at all. I hope they don't think me offensive or uncaring. I do have the deepest sympathy for everyone who has been affected by this. I know how lucky I am to be living in a landlocked prefecture. I just didn't notice!
I'm secretly hoping that Tension will call me and tell me guitar is canceled again tonight. We just had a make-up lesson on Friday. Seems too recent. And the ongoing shaking combined with the imminent rain is going to make for one miserable ride.
