An Iraqi teenage girl was brutally murdered by her father in an "honour killing" after she fell in love with a British soldier in Basra."Her funeral was done without any of the traditional mourning because she was deemed 'impure'. Her uncles were said to have spat on her body

The level of barbarism in the region is beyond belief. Surely, Christians and Jews have committed their atrocities, but the middle eastern Muslims are prone to absolutely vile acts to this very day. Even 17th century Massachusetts Puritans were above "honor killings", de-limbing and slow beheadings with rusty kitchen knives.

I wouldn't just blame it on Muslims, but tribal cultures involved with ancient religions, when combined with totalitarian ideologies (which Islam has a hard time not being a "total" life package)... well... the results are obvious.

I will say that not all Muslim countries are that barbaric, but enough of them are to raise an eyebrow, for sure.
