Plan 2: Curry and Videos
When?: May 20th, start 10am, end Rocky Time
Where?: Mary's Apartment, Stoughton, WI
Who's invited?: Anyone who's free who wants to eat something delicious and watch something good.
This thing's gonna be going on all day, because it's an informal Funn thing where people can trickle in and out and do as they please. I'm probably going to be there the whole time because I need some "time away". Mary's gonna be there the whole time because, well, she lives there.
Videos start at 10am. Who knows what we'll watch, but I'll bring a bunch of stuff. Ya'll're encouraged to bring something as well. I'm going to have Enterprise Season 4 (probably not going to be a favorite), most of Red Dwarf, Season 2 of Quantum Leap, and films Laughing Boy (by Joe Grisaffi) and First Men in the Moon.
Food? Well, it's gonna be like this: if you want anything to eat before the curry, you'll have to provide it yourself. I make no promises, but there might be other snack foods available. Likewise if you want something to drink. Think of it like a potluck, yeah? A 24-pack of soda doesn't cost all that much. ;)
Because of work and other schedules, people should be trickling in well into the evening, so we won't be eating curry until 6-7pm. I wouldn't let anyone miss it, ya know. If there are leftovers (doubtful) and you can't show up, you might get lucky (again, very doubtful).
