Open Invite to OAAH! @ OddCon 2006
Hey, you Madison peeps! I somehow got suckered in to running an Otaku Anonymous After Hours! party at OddCon on Friday night, April 7th. I'm going to (probably) be running this room alone, as the only help from No Brand is 2.5 hours away (in good weather). I'm trying to rope Caleb into running a Soul Calibur tournament, and I encourage anyone who wants to pwn some punk bitches to come along and hang out, even if you're not attending the convention!
That goes for everyone else, too. I'm hoping to screen a few things as well. Jim, if you could get me a copy of Re:Death Re:Dubbed, that would be totally tits (otherwise I have to deal with the less awesome version). I might also screen the Wizard of Speed and Time, if there's interest.
If any of you speak Klingon, I might need a translator -- I hear there's lots of them around this place.
Fun little note: this con is being held at the Radisson, which is the hotel where I went to some other Sci Fi convention of old where I met Sylvester McCoy back in 1988 or 1989. Which, yes, would have made me under 10 years old, and incredibly shy. I think I might have asked him where he parked the TARDIS.
