And Then There Was Life
Adrienne Emily, the newest Lobby (Rug) Rat, was born by C-section today! Everyone please give the happy (and most likely sore) mommies their best.
Speaking of life going on, I got a speeding ticket today. It was my first non-warning traffic violation ever. I swear that I was in a 35 zone, but the officer insisted it was 25 between the two sets of railroad tracks.
The funny thing? I was only going down those back roads because I had just purchased an I-Pass for my new car. I drove right by the guy, and his lights came on. I thought he just got bored, but he pretty much dismissed my argument. I could stop into court to contest it, but I'd probably lose more money by taking off the work time, and I'm probably going to lose up to two whole days as it stands.
Sigh... they took my license as bond, too. I wish I had my AAA card on me...
