koriandrkitten mentioned this to me a while back, but I wouldn't believe her. But now she is vindicated!
Yesterday, The Kissers formally announced on their website that they will be disbanding "for now".
They only have a handful of shows left this month, ending in one final show at the High Noon Saloon. Then that's it for the forseeable future.
So weird, given their recent (hopefully successful?) tour, new live album, DVD, and all this crazy production quality going into their shows over the last year. Depressing. A little upsetting. Poorly timed.
