[The US Senate Finds Their Collective Balls]
Congress may have a lower approval rating than the President (probably due in large part to their posturing and perceived, but I for one couldn't be happier that they're exercising their oversight powers for the first time since Bush took office. More specifically, the
Senate Judiciary Committee just subpoenaed the White House, Dick Cheney's office, the Justice Department, and the National Security Council over their roles in the 5 year old warrantless wiretapping program -- which is currently under court review.

The girl who literally
lost her feet due to a cable accident on The Giant Drop (known as "Superman's Tower of Power" in Kentucky) is stable, though little else is known at this time. "Similar rides" have been shut down, including the Great America version. That's fine, because after hearing this story I wasn't gonna go near the thing anyway.
