Stupid argument of the day:

Although Ripken has 3K+ hits, he only hit .300+ five times, only had 2 200+ hit seasons, and only hit more then 30 homers once in a season. If it weren't for the 3K+ hits and the streak, he probably wouldn't be in the hall at all."
