Beautiful in Boots
The security guard at the bank called me "beautiful lady" today. For all you guys out there who whistle, catcall or make lewd comments at women, I recommend you emulate the security guard. You're much more likely to make a girl feel good about herself and/or her day, and you might even get a friendly verbal response.
Meanwhile, our VP of New Business just wandered by with a tour group of suits and they all looked into my office as they passed. I'm sure he was wishing to himself that my bouquet of flowers wasn't presented in a giant margarita glass and that I'd wear some type of shoes other than well-worn-in knee-high motorcycle boots. At least my hoodie is zipped up over the "Wow you're ugly" on my Happy Bunny t-shirt.
