the weekend
well lets see where to start. thurs we played flag football and got killed, the usual. after that we played poker and i didnt get many hands but i fell i played as smart as possible, i was looking at AJ of spades so i was like alright ill go all in and maybe have 1 person call me. well the blinds were 200/400 and i raised it to 2,600 which is a huge raise. well tristan had a lot of chips and decided to call then one of my roommates called and he was short stacked after making the call. but the flop comes that is nothing special. then on the river comes a J and im happy with that bc i feel that i have the edge. well tristan calls my roommate all in and i realize he hits the flush. well he flips it over and shows A4 of hearts, i was so pissed that he called my all in with A4 suited. i was furious. im still frustrated wiht that, i would have beat my roommate, he had AQo and was rightful to call, so i should have been doubled up. if i had been doubled up i would have done pretty well in the game overall but it didnt happen. oh well. then i played with 2 other guys, winner take all, so i made back my $5 and then an additional $5 so that makes it alright. friday night i worked my ass off. nothing special, my dad stopped in for the night while on his way to tally and then i decided to go out so he went to a party with me. he held one of my friends legs while they did a keg stand, it was funny. saturday i went to the football game for the first half then went to work and stayed til like 1 and came home to a big ass party and had a ball. it was fun, woke up at noon and went to sonnys for breakfast, nothing like all you can eat pork for breakfast, my dad was back in town on his way home and came with us. tonight, sunday, i worked for 3 1/2 hours and here i am, i am sick, my throat hurts and all sorts of other shit, but no big deal. alright i got to go get my laundry. holla back.
